Let me ask you this, when you are studying is your phone next to you? When you’re working is your email open or is the TV on? Every time we take a break to check Instagram or Snapchat, we are throwing away precious time. You don’t need that much time to get started, if you can spare just 15 minutes a day you can do this. And if you have access to a phone or a library computer you can learn to do things on the internet.
So what can you do if you’re busy, whenever you have time, and don’t have the time to sell something physical? Regardless of how old you are here is what I want you to do today. Think of something you’re interested in, golf, traveling, fishing, photography and start an Instagram page right now on that niche. Be specific.
Don’t wait, I want you to do this now, it will only take a couple minutes. Every day I want you to post at least 1 picture on your page, it will take you less than 10 minutes a day. As you build a following you can start making money by selling ads on your Instagram page or by selling a product.
But Jaspreet I don’t know how to create a product and I just said I don’t have time to build a website or anything.
I didn’t say you have to create a product. That’s the beauty about the internet, you can sell someone else’s product and get paid to do it. If you have a travel page, you can partner with Expedia.com and get paid anytime someone clicks your link in your bio and books a trip. If you have a pet page, you can be an affiliate for pet smart and get paid when people buy pet products.
And even if you don’t get that far to sell a product, I guarantee you will learn something about marketing and selling which you can use in any industry.
And for anyone who thinks Instagram is saturated, just know that Instagram has 500 million monthly users while Facebook has 1.71 billion monthly users and is still growing. So Instagram has a long way to go.
There are no excuses. This is something anyone in any part of the world can do with little or no time. Will you start making money tomorrow? No. There is no such thing as get rich quick. Success takes time and work, there is no other way around it. So be cautious of people that sell things that promise otherwise – It takes years to become an overnight success.
